Shane's dad Rob organised a session on the sweetwater targeting Australian Bass for for these keen young Bass anglers from Brisbane.
There were some nice fish caught and released with Kel landing all his fish on Kokoda G Vibes and Shane scoring his PB Bass of 42 cm on the Eddy's Surface Buster.
They had one close encounter with a nice Barra that turned away from the lure at the last second due to weed hanging of the rear hooks.

Rob is a keen freshwater fisherman from South Australia who fished with me back in 2007 at Lenthalls dam and caught and released some nice Bass and Barra.
He contacted me to do some more Barra fishing with his son Matt at Monduran Dam for meter Barra while they were up here in Hervey Bay on holiday.

I postponed a charter due to the strong North west winds on Hervey Bay recently as the guys didn't want to go with plan B and target freshwater species like Bass and Barra so I went out to do some R&D on some Lenthalls Barra on Fly.
Fraser Coast Sportfishing Adventures is the only charter operation in Hervey Bay that offers a second purpose built boat to get anglers on the fresh water when the Bay is blown out.
