With a rise of around 4 meters in the water level from all the rain the previous week I told him it may be tough fishing and he was still ready to give it a try.

I fished him with a variety of methods during the day from suspending and floating hard bodies over the newly flooded grounds along with showing him the different retrieve methods and areas for fishing soft plastics.

He managed to land one good Barra over a meter that was very energetic and gave him a great fight with plenty of ariel action on a soft plastic.

He had another jump off on a Lively Lures Arafura Barra and missed another on a Rapala suspending minnow on the strike while fishing him in the timbered areas.

Rohan I hope the techniques I showed you during the day will help you land more fish in the future fishing in Monduran Dam.

I have 2 purpose built boats with full casting decks so anglers get the best out of their day on the water.
One charter I can guide anglers onto Tuna, Golden Trevally and other salt water species and the next onto meter plus Barra in the lakes.
Or if the anglers want a package of a couple of days with one day on the salt and the next in the fresh for Barra,Bass or Saratoga using both methods of fly and lures with 2 anglers fishing at a time in the fresh and up to 4 in the salt.
