From Fraser Coast Sportfishing.com Saltwater Alan fished with me a few years back and on that occasion caught a very large Queenfish in Hervey Bay and this trip he scored another great species from the Mary River.
He was accompanied by his good mate Brian,both of the guys are very keen Fly Fisherman and were keen to check out the Thread Fin Salmon action I told them about in the river as an option with the bad weather conditions that had moved in. Alan with his big Threadfin Salmon
They got to see a fantastic feeding display by the Threadfin Salmon as they smashed their way through the Jelly Prawns.
They had 4 strikes for the morning but sadly only 1 fish was hooked and landed to have it's photo taken then released to fight another day.
