The first group consisted of Joe and his boys and they were up from Sydney on holiday looking for some warmer weather.

The guys were camping on the eastern side of Fraser Island and I arranged to picked them up at the Kingfisher Bay Resort jetty.

They caught and released Queenfish, small Snapper,Cod,Chopper Tailor,Bream,Sharks and a few other species all on soft plastics.

They cast to and watched big Queenfish crashing poppers but sadly they didn't manage a hookup with the poppers.

Domonic did manage to land a good Queenfish on a Snapback 3 inch paddle tail rigged on a 1/2 oz TT jig head.

Sam and his family were up from Sydney on holidays at Noosa and he was keen to get into some tuna on fly and get his boys into some on spin gear.

I arranged to meet the guys down the southern end of the Great Sandy Straits and we spent the day chasing Mac Tuna but unfortunately no Longtail Tuna turned up.

The guys had a good day with some great visual hookups with the Mac Tuna schools feeding close to the boat as well as seeing Turtles,Dugongs and Dolphins.
