From Fraser Coast Sportfishing.com Big Barramundi On Fly
I now have permission from the Awoonga Water Board to run Charters on the Dam. I will be specializing in Fly Fishing for Awoonga's BIG BARRA but will also do Lure charters if that's what the anglers want.
The Fly charters will consist of 1 angler for a minimum of 2 days to give anglers the best opportunity to land one of these magnificent fish on a Fly Rod. Lure charters will be a maximum of 2 anglers and a minimum of 2 days.
Here's some pics of the Awoonga Barra that have been caught on Fly in the past 8 months.
Awoonga has a reputation for it's BIG BARRA on lures and on fly they are simply Awesome and very challenging.
