As many that visit this site would know I've been a big fan of Snapback plastics that are imported by the Australian Soft Bait Company and have had great success with them on my charters for many years.
For a while now I've been playing with another product that is manufactured by the same company in the United States that supplies the Snapback's.
These are called Z-Man Swimmerz and like the Snapback's they are very tough and also very buoyant and this combination will prove very effective on Impoundment Barra in lakes like Monduran, Awoonga and Lenthalls that have heavy weed cover.

Camping at Lake Lenthall
From Monday 26 July 2010 camping will be available at Lake Lenthall.
The site is ideal for your tent and includes facilities such as grassy camp areas, picnic tables, boat ramp, toilets, cold showers and sinks for washing. Please note that generators, open fires and pets are not permitted at Lake Lenthall. There is also no drinking water available on-site so please remember your gas cookers and drinking water supply.
As places are limited camping spots must be pre-booked by contacting the Lake Lenthall Ranger Office on Ph 4129 4833.
This has been a long time coming but hopefully this will encourage more people to tick Lenthalls on their SIPS permits and the Fraser Coast Fish Stocking Assocation can stock more fish for anglers to catch each year.
There's been a lot of changes out there in the past 3-4 years and a lot of negitive comments on web sites from locals and non locals since the gates went on it about the management of the lake and this didn't help the stocking group at all.
It is Hervey Bays main water supply and has to be managed properly,
Hopefully bridges can be built so the dam can be returned to it's former glory!!!
