Leon is the Assistant Manager of BCF here in Hervey Bay and was keen to learn more about the which, where and how with soft plastics.
He had a good morning catching and releasing a heap of Brassy Trevally along with Golden Trevally there was also a small Cobia, Tailor and Broad Bar Mackerel brought to the boat and released in the water to minimise stress.
All of the fish for the morning were caught on Snap Back in the 5 inch or the smaller paddle tails.
Leon it was fun having you on board for the morning and getting you connected to some good fish.

After returning Brendan and Merrie to the harbour from their morning session good mate Justin Nye joined me for some afternoon Snapper fishing fun out on Hervey Bay using soft plastics to get a feed of fresh fish.

Brendan and his wife Merrie were in Queensland on Holidays from Victoria and visited Hervey Bay and wanted to spend a morning on the water.
They caught and released some small Snapper, and a couple of species of cod using plastics.
Brendan landed this nice Snapper which they kept for a meal.
Merrie hooked and unfortunately lost 2 good Queen Fish with the second fish only meters from the landing net.
Brendan and Merrie I hope you enjoyed the Snapper and you had a safe journey home.
