Dion is a real keen fisherman so they drove up and stayed at La Meir Luxury Apartments here in Hervey Bay for the night and he had a great time for the following morning session.
He hooked and landed 4 Golden Trevally a nice Queen fish that gave a few good jumps for him and had 4 Giant Herring jump off!! the hooks just wouldn't stay connected in these great fighting fish long enough for them to be landed.
He also caught and released some Gold spot, Diamond and Brassy Trevally along with a few pan sized Snapper, he had never used soft plastics or done this style of fishing before,well done mate.
Dion and Helen it was great meeting you and showing you a small part of the fishing Hervey Bay has to offer it was a shame the weather wasn't more pleasant for your visit.
