He had a great day hooking landing and loosing some Yellow Fin ,Longtail and Mac Tuna along with Spanish Mackerel Trevally and Snapper.
This is the 5th slam on a variety of species achieved on the boat in the past 2 years with 3 being on fly and the remaining 2 on plastics.
Later in the day I explained the method of sight casting to cruising Longtail tuna to Troy and he had a ball catching them this way,he could have hooked many others from the schooled fish but preferred the sight casting to individual fish as they cruised the surface looking for an easy meal.
A well placed Snapback would be eaten without hesitation as soon as the fish saw it and Troy got to watch it all happen sometimes only meter from the boat!!!
Troy it was a pleasure having you on the boat again and showing you some new tricks for catching some of the great speedsters we have on offer here in Hervey Bay.
