Sadly there was only 1 fish landed from 3 hooked for the session from sight casting to the Tailing fish in less than a meter of water.
These fish have very rubbery lips and hooks can pull quite easily sometimes if the fish isn't hooked further into the mouth or too much pressure is applied.
But as well known New Zealand Guide Hugh McDowell said to me a few years back when he fished with me, It's better to have hooked and lost than to never have hooked at all.
