I had a couple of spare days so I went for a flats fish and scored some lovely Goldens all sight cast with fly in less than a meter of clear water.
The following pics aren't the best but it's not easy setting up the camera while keeping the fish in the water and getting a quick shot before release on your own.
A tailing Golden
The result of a well placed cast
It was quite windy but it didn't effect the fish, they were there in good numbers and ready to eat anything that moved on the first day landing and releasing 6 from 7 hookups.
If you look closely at this pic you can see the line to the fish in the bottom right and a tailing fish in the top left that wasn't concerned about all the commotion of the hooked fish.
They were a little bit more cautious on the second day and weren't hitting the fly as hard with 4 from 7 landed and released.
I have a few days in December with good tides available so if your interested give me a call or contact me via email
