A Golden stops to pump some food tail up center left

They have been up north fishing with Carpentaria Seafaris then out with Nomad Sportfishing then down to Hervey Bay to fish with me again.

The result of an accurate cast

It's been 2 years since Randal and his lovely with Kate along with good friend Brendan Mason fished with me last, but on this trip unfortunately Kate had to return home after the Nomad trip and Brendan couldn't make the trip.

This time Randall was joined by his son Dan a great young bloke that likes his spear fishing and surfing, the guys caught and released some nice Golden Trevally,Tuna and Flathead in the couple of days they spent with me.

But it was the Golden Trevally that were the main target species on fly and plastics.

A well presented Snapback rarely gets refused

Randall did get a few shots at some big Queenfish but they would only follow the fly and not eat it and sight cast a Ramora that nailed the fly as soon as it was cast in front of it.

The conditions weren't the best with a strong North west wind blowing but they still got some great sight casting in with some spectacular visual hookups from tailing and cruising fish.

Randall, mate it was great to have you fishing on the boat
again and guiding you onto some nice Golden Trevally, hopefully both you and Kate will be able to fish with me next time your over here in Australia and Dan it was a pleasure meeting you for the first time mate and getting you into some good fishing.

Paul
