I've known Eric for many years since the early Bass tournament days and it has been a long time since we shared a boat together but now he has moved to Hervey Bay I'm sure we will get the chance to fish together more often.

There were only the two fish landed for the day and both were big fish but there were others jumped of or the usual short strikes.

This big fish ate the new Lively Lures Arafura Shallow, this lure is producing some good Barra in Monduran lately and I'm sure it will have simular results on the other dams.

This one ate a soft plastic after dark.

Justin and John had driven up from Batemans Bay to fish Monduran Dam for the week and were keen to have me show them productive areas around the dam and learn about what lures produce and how to fish them in the different areas.

First up in the morning I took the guys to the spot the fish was caught the night before and after setting the guys up with some plastics on their spin rods that have been producing Barra for me it wasn't long before Justin got the first hookup.

A nice Barra at around 95cm was a great way to start the day for him.

Shorty after he landed one slightly smaller and lost another one after the hookup when the hook pulled during the fight and John had a few missed strikes.

The rest of the morning was pretty quiet although they had a few hits that didn't connect along with the usual catfish, I showed the guys plenty of fish producing country that they will be able to use in the comming week.
