Monduran Dam

Only fished gentlemans hours from 8 to 4 and saw plenty of fish warming themselves in the shallows in certain bays.
The fish are still very flighty but this will change as the water temps start to increase from now on.

Managed to land one Barra at 95cm on a Yozuri Mag darter fished above the shallows weeds and jumped another slightly bigger off and had a few fish short strike or miss the hook on a new plastic I've been testing.

An indication on how quickly it is warming up is this very Big Brown snake I came across in one bay,I tried to get closer to get a good pic but as I approached it got very angry so backed off.

I saw 4 big dead barra floating around the dam in different locations that probably died from the cold snap a few weeks back but the water temps are improving by the day.

On another note I purchased some of the new Squidgy Boof Frogs and was very disappointed with them, they have no action in the legs during the retrieve like the original Horny Toads they were copied off.

I believe it would be better to purchase the originals until the problem with this product is rectified.
The problem with the action has been brought to the attention of the suppliers and hopefully they can improve on them.

Paul
