It's been 2 years since the guys last fished with me and on that occasion they caught and released some nice Mac Tuna and got to cast at some good Long Tail Tuna in windy conditions.

Sadly for the guys the wind once again arrived as they did and gained strength during the morning so we had to cut the fishing day short.

The first location I had the guys fishing soon became too windy when the tide changed, so after a move to more slightly sheltered waters William sight cast and hooked a nice Golden Trevally.

Watching Golden Trevally tailing and feeding in only a few feet of water is real heart in the mouth stuff and too hook one in such shallow water really sets the reel spinning as they race towards deeper water.

Lionel had some great shots as well but unfortunately the Swallow Tail Dart that were cruising with the Goldens beat the Golden Trevally to the fly on 4 occasions, bad luck mate hopefully next time it will be the opposite.

They were going to fish with me for 2 days but with the Strong Wind Warning issued for the Bay AGAIN for the next 4 days they headed up to Awoonga Dam to cast some DK Dancers at some Big Impoundment Barramundi with Rod
[Harro] Harrison of Awoonga Barra and Birds.

Lionel is the Co-creator of the DK Dancer and is keen to catch some more Barramundi on them this trip,
Guys I hope the rest of your trip was successful, safe and enjoyable.
It was great having you up here again and showing you both another great fly rod species that we have here in the bay it's just a shame the wind followed you up here again this year.
