I couldn't attend this stocking due to charter commitments,
but have been told by several members how successful the day went with all the fish surviving for release and 12 boats turning up to help with it.
This is a great effort by the existing members and the 4 new members that joined on the day and it is a good sign for the future of the fishery.
There was good media coverage through the local Seven news and news papers along with fishing magazines.
To all the members and visitors that helped out on the day I say Thank You as without the hard work of dedicated Stocking Associations and their members around Queensland we would not have the magnificent fisheries we have.
Also thanks to the sponsors like the Great Outdoors Publications for their financial support and Johnson Aerators for the Johnson Pro Livewell Pumps they donated to allow the stocking group to transport the fingerlings to various locations around the dam.
