Dave was a Fly Fishing Guide on the Bow River south of Calgary for several years and is a very good fly fisherman.
He was keen to catch a Tuna on fly so the plan was set and put into action and he had his first and second tuna species within the first hour and a half of being on the water.
The cool gusty South Westers blowing early in the day made things a bit difficult but Dave handled the conditions very well and produced some nice fish.

Dave found that matching the hatch in the salt can be as important as matching the hatch on a Trout stream to have sucess.
He then went on to catch many more for the day with the last fish being the biggest Longtail for the day weighing in at 12.5 kilo which gave him a reel good workout.
Dave it was a pleasure having you on the boat, guiding you onto some nice fish and hearing about the fishing you have Canada, you might just see me over there sometime in the future.
